The Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection strives to be transparent and open with our donors, member groups, volunteers, and supporters about our finances and policies. Listed below are our organizing documents, recent financial documents, and the internal policies adopted to date by our Board of Directors. (Note: Since we received our 501(c)(3) designation from the IRS in late January 2018 (after being fiscally sponsored by member group Sky Island Alliance for many years), we currently only have six 990 forms to share.)

We hold a platinum transparency rating with Candid and Guidestar, the world’s largest source of information on non-profit organizations.

This is the highest level a charity can achieve and evidences our commitment to transparency and sound management.

We hold a four-star and 99% rating with Charity Navigator, which provides insights into a nonprofit’s financial stability, adherence to best practices for both accountability and transparency, and results reporting.

This is also the highest level a charity can achieve!
