Habitat Restoration Day
January 10, 2025 @ 8:00 am - January 11, 2025 @ 12:00 pm
Join us for a two-day restoration workshop at the Oracle Road wildlife crossings! There are some concerning areas of erosion at the wildlife underpass and bridge, and we’d like your help to fix it! Restoration & Invasive Species Program Manager, Kelsey Landreville, from Pima County Conservation Lands and Resources; and native plant specialist, Carianne Funicelli, from Strategic Habitat Enhancements will be joining us and leading these workshops. Together we’ll learn how to identify erosion, what causes it and how it can affect the landscape, and the strategies used to remediate it! Be prepared to move some rocks around and get some soil therapy in. :) Coffee, bagels and snacks will be provided. Please bring a reusable mug and water bottle. We hope you can join us!
1/10/25: 8:00am-12:00pm & 1/11/25: 8:00am-12:00pm
