Get your grabbers ready – highway cleanups are back! We are excited to return to our regular highway cleanups near the Oracle Road wildlife crossings. This time, we’ll also be pulling buffelgrass along the route! We will split into teams and assign you to either pick up trash or pull buffelgrass. Teams are flexible, please let us know if you have a preference for picking up trash or pulling buffelgrass.

We’ll be meeting at our regular spot near the corner of Oracle Road and E. Vistoso Commerce Loop Rd. near the south end of our cleanup area (see MAP here). Gloves, safety vests, rock picks, snacks and water, trash bags, and pick-up sticks (grabbers) are provided. You’re welcome to join us for as long as you like! Please bring a refillable water bottle.

Physical requirements: Frequent bending and kneeling, walking in the sun for prolonged periods, walking on potentially uneven surfaces. Due to safety and ADOT regulations, volunteers must be 12 years or older.
