Public forum: Wildlife crossings and the RTA Next draft budget
January 6, 2025 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am
Start your new year on a positive note by joining our community in an informative discussion on the region’s wildlife crossings, our future crossing plans and how to advocate for them.
The Coalition for Sonoran Desert Protection is hosting a public forum on the importance of wildlife crossings, Pima County’s Regional Transportation Authority’s 20-year draft plan (RTA Next), and how to comment in support of an appropriate budget for wildlife linkages.
We’re gathering on the 6th with just a couple of days left for the public to comment on the RTA Next draft plan (public comment ends on January 8, 2025). Don’t miss your chance to make your voice heard!
You will hear from Kate Hotten, our Co-Executive Director, and Jessica Moreno, our Conservation Science Director. We will have coffee, and feel free to bring snacks.
Doors open at 8:30 am, and we’ll begin at 9:00 am.
RSVP to admin@sonorandesert.org for a virtual meeting link, or just show up! And give us a call at 520 388 9925 if you need directions.
